Who we are

What we collect

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

• Browsing data. Standard technical data your browser sends (e.g. IP address, user agent, pages viewed) is processed to operate and secure the site. Our server keeps standard access logs for operation and security; these are not used to build profiles of you.
• Cookies & advertising. We set no cookies of our own. We plan to use third-party advertising, starting with Google AdSense. When advertising is active, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EU and UK), you will be asked to consent through a cookie-consent banner before such cookies are set, and you can manage or withdraw consent there at any time. You can also opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info. We do not use advertising trackers beyond what these partners require, and we do not sell personal data.
• Local storage. The site may store small preferences (such as your chosen language) in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us as personal data, and can be cleared by clearing your browser storage.
• Email. If you contact us or subscribe to updates, we process the email address (and any message you provide) solely to respond or to send what you requested. Newsletter delivery uses MailerLite (see International transfer below); every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not sell personal data.

Why we process it, and on what basis

We process the above to operate, secure, and improve the website and to communicate with you when you reach out. We rely on your consent for the newsletter (withdrawable at any time), and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site for the technical processing described above.

Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run the site, under appropriate terms, and where required by law. Current processors: Amazon Web Services (hosting; Seoul region, ap-northeast-2) and MailerLite (newsletter delivery). When third-party advertising is enabled, Google (AdSense) will also process data as described under Cookies & advertising. We do not sell personal data.

International transfer

When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is processed by MailerLite, which may store or process it outside the Republic of Korea:
